All applicants must meet minimum qualifications to be considered for a position as a police officer with the Holly Hill Police Department:
- be at least 21 years old
- be a high school graduate or equivalent
- not have any felony convictions
Other requirements for employment include:

- drug screen
- good moral turpitude
- good customer service skills
